اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ
It is Allah who has sent down the Book with the truth and [He has sent down] the Balance. What do you know—maybe the Hour is near!

[Pooya/Ali Commentary 42:17] Refer to the commentary of Baqarah: 2 for the book and Araf: 8 and Anbiya: 47 to know about mizan (balance or scale). Aqa Mahdi Puya says: Mizan implies the balance of mind, a God-given faculty, which is fully aware of the meanings and interpretation of all the revealed books.
