al-Nisā’ (Women)
ٱلنِّسَاء
4:85
مَّن
يَشْفَعْ
شَفَاعَةً
حَسَنَةً
يَكُن
لَّهُ
نَصِيبٌ
مِّنْهَا
وَمَن
يَشْفَعْ
شَفَاعَةً
سَيِّئَةً
يَكُن
لَّهُ
كِفْلٌ
مِّنْهَا
وَكَانَ
اللَّهُ
عَلَى
كُلِّ
شَيْءٍ
مُّقِيتًا
man yashfaʿ shafāʿatan ḥasanatan yakun lahū naṣībun minhā wa-man yashfaʿ shafāʿatan sayyiʾatan yakun lahū kiflun minhā wa-kāna llāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin muqītan
Whoever intercedes for a good purpose will receive his share of the reward but the intercession for an evil purpose only adds more to one's burden. God has control over all things.
