النساء
al-Nisā’ (Women)
ٱلنِّسَاء
4:161
وَأَخْذِهِمُ
الرِّبَا
وَقَدْ
نُهُوا
عَنْهُ
وَأَكْلِهِمْ
أَمْوَالَ
النَّاسِ
بِالْبَاطِلِ
وَأَعْتَدْنَا
لِلْكَافِرِينَ
مِنْهُمْ
عَذَابًا
أَلِيمًا
wa-ʾakhdhihimu r-ribā wa-qad nuhū ʿanhu wa-ʾaklihim ʾamwāla n-nāsi bi-l-bāṭili wa-ʾaʿtadnā li-l-kāfirīna minhum ʿadhāban ʾalīman
their taking usury which was prohibited for them, and their consuming people's property unjustly. For the unbelievers among them, We have prepared a painful torment.
