فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ

إِنَّا

كُنَّا

غَاوِينَ

fa-ʾaghwaynākum ʾinnā kunnā ghāwīna

"We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray."

So we perverted you, for we were perverse [ourselves].’
