وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
The faithless say, ‘Shall we show you a man who will inform you [that] when you have been totally rent to pieces you will indeed have a new creation?

Commentary on Quran 34:7
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 34:7] The Holy Prophet used to preach resurrection of man after physical death. This verse refers to the ignorance of the disbelievers, who obstinately refused to accept the truth the Holy Prophet preached to them, by relying on false conjectures. Aqa Mahdi Puya says: According to the theistic view of life, death is not the annihilation of life, but a transfer to a new state. This always appears strange to the atheists.
