al-Aḥzāb (The Confederates)
ٱلْأَحْزَاب
33:67
وَقَالُوا
رَبَّنَا
إِنَّا
أَطَعْنَا
سَادَتَنَا
وَكُبَرَاءَنَا
فَأَضَلُّونَا
السَّبِيلَا
wa-qālū rabbanā ʾinnā ʾaṭaʿnā sādatanā wa-kubarāʾanā fa-ʾaḍallūnā s-sabīla
They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray.
