الطَّعَامِ
كَانَ
حِلًّا
لِّبَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ
إِلَّا
مَا
حَرَّمَ
إِسْرَائِيلُ
عَلَى
نَفْسِهِ
مِن
قَبْلِ
أَن
تُنَزَّلَ
التَّوْرَاةُ
قُلْ
فَأْتُوا
بِالتَّوْرَاةِ
فَاتْلُوهَا
إِن
كُنتُمْ
صَادِقِينَ
kullu ṭ-ṭaʿāmi kāna ḥillan li-banī ʾisrāʾīla ʾillā mā ḥarrama ʾisrāʾīlu ʿalā nafsihī min qabli ʾan tunazzala t-tawrātu qul fa-ʾtū bi-t-tawrāti fa-tlūhā ʾin kuntum ṣādiqīna
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had forbidden himself before the Torah was sent down. Say, ‘Bring the Torah, and read it, if you are truthful.’

All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth."
