لَقَدْ

مَنَّ

اللَّهُ

عَلَى

الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

إِذْ

بَعَثَ

فِيهِمْ

رَسُولًا

مِّنْ

أَنفُسِهِمْ

يَتْلُو

عَلَيْهِمْ

آيَاتِهِ

وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ

وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ

الْكِتَابَ

وَالْحِكْمَةَ

وَإِن

كَانُوا

مِن

قَبْلُ

لَفِي

ضَلَالٍ

مُّبِينٍ

la-qad manna llāhu ʿalā l-muʾminīna ʾidh baʿatha fīhim rasūlan min ʾanfusihim yatlū ʿalayhim ʾāyātihī wa-yuzakkīhim wa-yuʿallimuhumu l-kitāba wa-l-ḥikmata wa-ʾin kānū min qablu la-fī ḍalālin mubīnin

Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.

Allah certainly favoured the faithful when He raised up among them an apostle from among themselves to recite to them His signs and to purify them and teach them the Book and wisdom, and earlier they had indeed been in manifest error.
