al-Qaṣaṣ (The Story)
ٱلْقَصَص
28:56
إِنَّكَ
لَا
تَهْدِي
مَنْ
أَحْبَبْتَ
وَلَكِنَّ
اللَّهَ
يَهْدِي
مَن
يَشَاءُ
وَهُوَ
أَعْلَمُ
بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
ʾinnaka lā tahdī man ʾaḥbabta wa-lākinna llāha yahdī man yashāʾu wa-huwa ʾaʿlamu bi-l-muhtadīna
(Muhammad), you cannot guide whomever you love, but God guides whomever He wants and knows best those who seek guidance.
