al-Shu‘arā’ (The Poets)

ٱلشُّعَرَاء

26:216

فَإِنْ

عَصَوْكَ

فَقُلْ

إِنِّي

بَرِيءٌ

مِّمَّا

تَعْمَلُونَ

fa-ʾin ʿaṣawka fa-qul ʾinnī barīʾun mimmā taʿmalūna

If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds".

Then if

فَإِنْ

they disobey you

عَصَوْكَ

then say

فَقُلْ

Indeed I am

إِنِّي

innocent

بَرِيءٌ

of what

مِّمَّا

you do

تَعْمَلُونَ
