وَهُوَ
الَّذِي
جَعَلَ
اللَّيْلَ
وَالنَّهَارَ
خِلْفَةً
لِّمَنْ
أَرَادَ
أَن
يَذَّكَّرَ
أَوْ
أَرَادَ
شُكُورًا
wa-huwa lladhī jaʿala l-layla wa-n-nahāra khilfatan li-man ʾarāda ʾan yadhdhakkara ʾaw ʾarāda shukūran
And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude.

It is He who made the night and the day alternate for someone who desires to take admonition, or desires to give thanks.
