al-Nūr (The Light)
ٱلنُّور
24:37
رِجَالٌ
لَّا
تُلْهِيهِمْ
تِجَارَةٌ
وَلَا
بَيْعٌ
عَن
ذِكْرِ
اللَّهِ
وَإِقَامِ
الصَّلَاةِ
وَإِيتَاءِ
الزَّكَاةِ
يَخَافُونَ
يَوْمًا
تَتَقَلَّبُ
فِيهِ
الْقُلُوبُ
وَالْأَبْصَارُ
rijālun lā tulhīhim tijāratun wa-lā bayʿun ʿan dhikri llāhi wa-ʾiqāmi ṣ-ṣalāti wa-ʾītāʾi z-zakāti yakhāfūna yawman tataqallabu fīhi l-qulūbu wa-l-ʾabṣāru
by people, who can neither be diverted by merchandise nor bargaining from worshipping God, saying their prayers and paying religious tax. They do these things, for they are afraid of the day when all hearts and eyes will undergo terrible unrest and crisis.
