al-Nūr (The Light)
ٱلنُّور
24:16
وَلَوْلَا
إِذْ
سَمِعْتُمُوهُ
قُلْتُم
مَّا
يَكُونُ
لَنَا
أَن
نَّتَكَلَّمَ
بِهَذَا
سُبْحَانَكَ
هَذَا
بُهْتَانٌ
عَظِيمٌ
wa-law-lā ʾidh samiʿtumūhu qultum mā yakūnu lanā ʾan natakallama bi-hādhā subḥānaka hādhā buhtānun ʿaẓīmun
Would that on hearing this report, you had said, "We have nothing to say about it. God forbid! It is a serious accusation."
