وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ حَكِيمٌ
Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy upon you, and that Allah is all-clement, all-wise....

Commentary on Quran 24:10
[Pooya/Ali Commentary 24:10] It is the mercy of Allah that He has given such just laws to regulate relations among the people otherwise they would certainly be ruined. Allah is oft-forgiving to those who confess their guilt, repent and amend their conduct.
