قَالَ
لَقَدْ
كُنتُمْ
أَنتُمْ
وَآبَاؤُكُمْ
فِي
ضَلَالٍ
مُّبِينٍ
qāla la-qad kuntum ʾantum wa-ʾābāʾukum fī ḍalālin mubīnin
He said, ‘Certainly you and your fathers have been in manifest error.’
— Ali Quli Qarai
He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers."
