al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:201
وَمِنْهُم
مَّن
يَقُولُ
رَبَّنَا
آتِنَا
فِي
الدُّنْيَا
حَسَنَةً
وَفِي
الْآخِرَةِ
حَسَنَةً
وَقِنَا
عَذَابَ
النَّارِ
wa-minhum man yaqūlu rabbanā ʾātinā fī d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa-fī l-ʾākhirati ḥasanatan wa-qinā ʿadhāba n-nāri
Others pray, "Lord, give us good things both in this life as well as in the life hereafter and save us from the torment of fire".
