وَلَكُمْ
فِي
الْقِصَاصِ
حَيَاةٌ
يَاأُولِي
الْأَلْبَابِ
لَعَلَّكُمْ
تَتَّقُونَ
wa-lakum fī l-qiṣāṣi ḥayātun yā-ʾulī l-ʾalbābi laʿallakum tattaqūna
People of understanding, the law of the death penalty as retaliation grants you life so that perhaps you will have fear of God.
