al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:146
الَّذِينَ
آتَيْنَاهُمُ
الْكِتَابَ
يَعْرِفُونَهُ
كَمَا
يَعْرِفُونَ
أَبْنَاءَهُمْ
وَإِنَّ
فَرِيقًا
مِّنْهُمْ
لَيَكْتُمُونَ
الْحَقَّ
وَهُمْ
يَعْلَمُونَ
alladhīna ʾātaynāhumu l-kitāba yaʿrifūnahū ka-mā yaʿrifūna ʾabnāʾahum wa-ʾinna farīqan minhum la-yaktumūna l-ḥaqqa wa-hum yaʿlamūna
Those to whom We have given the Book (Bible), know you (Muhammad) just as a well as they know their sons. It is certain that some of them deliberately hide the truth.
