al-Baqarah (The Cow)
ٱلْبَقَرَة
2:116
وَقَالُوا
اتَّخَذَ
اللَّهُ
وَلَدًا
سُبْحَانَهُ
بَل
لَّهُ
مَا
فِي
السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالْأَرْضِ
كُلٌّ
لَّهُ
قَانِتُونَ
wa-qālū ttakhadha llāhu waladan subḥānahū bal lahū mā fī s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi kullun lahū qānitūna
They, (the People of the Book), have said that God has taken for Himself a son. He is too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. All pray in obedience to Him.
