al-Isrā’ (The Night Journey)
ٱلْإِسْرَاء
17:47
نَّحْنُ
أَعْلَمُ
بِمَا
يَسْتَمِعُونَ
بِهِ
إِذْ
يَسْتَمِعُونَ
إِلَيْكَ
وَإِذْ
هُمْ
نَجْوَى
إِذْ
يَقُولُ
الظَّالِمُونَ
إِن
تَتَّبِعُونَ
إِلَّا
رَجُلًا
مَّسْحُورًا
naḥnu ʾaʿlamu bi-mā yastamiʿūna bihī ʾidh yastamiʿūna ʾilayka wa-ʾidh hum najwā ʾidh yaqūlū ẓ-ẓālimūna ʾin tattabiʿūna ʾillā rajulan masḥūran-i
We know what they want to hear when they listen to you. They whisper to each other and say, "You are only following a bewitched person".
