al-Isrā’ (The Night Journey)
ٱلْإِسْرَاء
17:36
وَلَا
تَقْفُ
مَا
لَيْسَ
لَكَ
بِهِ
عِلْمٌ
إِنَّ
السَّمْعَ
وَالْبَصَرَ
وَالْفُؤَادَ
كُلُّ
أُولَئِكَ
كَانَ
عَنْهُ
مَسْئُولًا
wa-lā taqfu mā laysa laka bihī ʿilmun ʾinna s-samʿa wa-l-baṣara wa-l-fuʾāda kullu ʾulāʾika kāna ʿanhu masʾūlan
Do not follow what you do not know; the ears, eyes, and hearts will all be held responsible for their deeds.
