al-Naḥl (The Bee)
ٱلنَّحْل
16:58
وَإِذَا
بُشِّرَ
أَحَدُهُم
بِالْأُنثَى
ظَلَّ
وَجْهُهُ
مُسْوَدًّا
وَهُوَ
كَظِيمٌ
wa-ʾidhā bushshira ʾaḥaduhum bi-l-ʾunthā ẓalla wajhuhū muswaddan wa-huwa kaẓīmun
When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger.
