وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
When your Lord said to the angels, ‘Indeed I am going to create a human out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud.

[Pooya/Ali Commentary 15:28] Refer to the commentary of al Baqarah: 30 to 38 for creation of Adam, Allah's order to the angels to fall down unto him prostrate and the refusal of Iblis. According to Abdullah Yusuf Ali the name Iblis has in it the root-idea of desperateness and rebellion.
