إِبْرَاهِيم

14:44

وَأَنذِرِ

النَّاسَ

يَوْمَ

يَأْتِيهِمُ

الْعَذَابُ

فَيَقُولُ

الَّذِينَ

ظَلَمُوا

رَبَّنَا

أَخِّرْنَا

إِلَى

أَجَلٍ

قَرِيبٍ

نُّجِبْ

دَعْوَتَكَ

وَنَتَّبِعِ

الرُّسُلَ

أَوَلَمْ

تَكُونُوا

أَقْسَمْتُم

مِّن

قَبْلُ

مَا

لَكُم

مِّن

زَوَالٍ

wa-ʾandhiri n-nāsa yawma yaʾtīhimu l-ʿadhābu fa-yaqūlu lladhīna ẓalamū rabbanā ʾakhkhirnā ʾilā ʾajalin qarībin nujib daʿwataka wa-nattabiʿi r-rusula ʾa-wa-lam takūnū ʾaqsamtum min qablu lakum min zawālin

(Muhammad), warn the people of the day when torment will approach them and the unjust will say, "Lord, give us respite for a little time so that we may answer your call and follow the Messengers." (The answer to their prayer will be), "Did you not swear before that you would never perish?
