al-Ra‘d (Thunder)

ٱلرَّعْد

13:11

لَهُ

مُعَقِّبَاتٌ

مِّن

بَيْنِ

يَدَيْهِ

وَمِنْ

خَلْفِهِ

يَحْفَظُونَهُ

مِنْ

أَمْرِ

اللَّهِ

إِنَّ

اللَّهَ

لَا

يُغَيِّرُ

مَا

بِقَوْمٍ

حَتَّى

يُغَيِّرُوا

مَا

بِأَنفُسِهِمْ

وَإِذَا

أَرَادَ

اللَّهُ

بِقَوْمٍ

سُوءًا

فَلَا

مَرَدَّ

لَهُ

وَمَا

لَهُم

مِّن

دُونِهِ

مِن

وَالٍ

lahū muʿaqqibātun min bayni yadayhi wa-min khalfihī yaḥfaẓūnahū min ʾamri llāhi ʾinna llāha yughayyiru bi-qawmin ḥattā yughayyirū bi-ʾanfusihim wa-ʾidhā ʾarāda llāhu bi-qawmin sūʾan fa-lā maradda lahū wa-mā lahum min dūnihī min wālin

Everyone is guarded and protected on all sides by the order of God. God does not change the condition of a nation unless it changes what is in its heart. When God wants to punish a people, there is no way to escape from it and no one besides God will protect them from it.
