وَقَالَ
مُوسَى
رَبَّنَا
إِنَّكَ
آتَيْتَ
فِرْعَوْنَ
وَمَلَأَهُ
زِينَةً
وَأَمْوَالًا
فِي
الْحَيَاةِ
الدُّنْيَا
رَبَّنَا
لِيُضِلُّوا
عَن
سَبِيلِكَ
رَبَّنَا
اطْمِسْ
عَلَى
أَمْوَالِهِمْ
وَاشْدُدْ
عَلَى
قُلُوبِهِمْ
فَلَا
يُؤْمِنُوا
حَتَّى
يَرَوُا
الْعَذَابَ
الْأَلِيمَ
wa-qāla mūsā rabbanā ʾinnaka ʾātayta firʿawna wa-malaʾahū zīnatan wa-ʾamwālan fī l-ḥayāti d-dunyā rabbanā li-yuḍillū ʿan sabīlika rabbanā ṭmis ʿalā ʾamwālihim wa-shdud ʿalā qulūbihim fa-lā yuʾminū ḥattā yarawu l-ʿadhāba l-ʾalīma
Moses said, "Lord, You have given the Pharaoh and his people great riches and splendor in this life and this makes them stray from Your path. Lord, destroy their wealth and harden their hearts in disbelief so that they will suffer the most painful torment".
