فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى أَلْقُوا مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ

So when the magicians came, Moses said to them, ‘Throw down what you have to throw.’
