A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Dawud ibn Sarhan who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘Witnesses must not refuse to present their testimony when they are called before it (the case and testimony) is written down.’”
