1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father or others from Muhammad ibn Aslam al-Jabaliy in a marfu‘ manner has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘The bathhouse is a very good house; it reminds of fire and banishes dirt.’ ‘Umar has said, ‘A bathhouse is the worst house; it exposes private parts and violates secrets.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘People have ascribed the words of ’Amir al-Mu’minin to ‘Umar and vice versa.’”
