الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْهَمَذَانِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْجَوَّانِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ قَدْ يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا لَبِسَ الثَّوْبَ الْجَدِيدَ أَنْ يُمِرَّ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ يَقُولَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي مَا أُوَارِي بِهِ عَوْرَتِي وَ أَتَجَمَّلُ بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ وَ أَتَزَيَّنُ بِهِ بَيْنَهُمْ .

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from Ali al-Hamadaniy from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from Khalid al-Jawwan who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan, Musa , saying, Tt is very proper for you when wearing a piece of new clothes to wipe it with your hand and say, “All praise belongs to Allah who has dressed me with something whereby I cover my privacy, beautify and decorate myself before the people.’”
