سَهْلٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَدِينِيِّ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سُئِلَ عَنِ الْغِنَاءِ وَ أَنَا حَاضِرٌ فَقَالَ لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتاً اللَّهُ مُعْرِضٌ عَنْ أَهْلِهَا .
18. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Madiniy from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following:
“Once abu ‘Abd Allah , was asked about music (and singing) when I was present. He (the Imam) said, ‘Do not enter the houses whose inhabitants Allah disregards.’”
