عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
قَالَ شَكَا رَجُلٌ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَسَاوَةَ الْقَلْبِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلَيْكَ بِالْعَدَسِ فَإِنَّهُ يُرِقُّ الْقَلْبَ وَ يُسْرِعُ الدَّمْعَةَ .
3. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that once a man complained before the Holy Prophet, about hardheartedness. He (the Messenger of Allah) told him to eat lintels; it softens the heart and makes tears to flow quicker.’”
