أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ خَلَفِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَأُتِينَا بِسُكُرُّجَاتٍ فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ وَ قَالَ هَذَا شِيرَازُ الْأُتُنِ اتَّخَذْنَاهُ لِعَلِيلٍ عِنْدَنَا وَ مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَأْكُلْ وَ مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَدَعْ .
2. Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Khalaf ibn Hammad from Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “I once was with abu ‘Abd Allah , that small bowls were brought and he (the Imam) pointed with his hand toward one of them saying,
‘This is Shiraz al-’Utun which we have extracted for a patient with us. Whoever wants to eat he can eat and whoever does not want can leave it.’”
