عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام )
شَيْئَانِ صَالِحَانِ لَمْ يَدْخُلَا جَوْفَ وَاحِدٍ قَطُّ فَاسِداً إِلَّا أَصْلَحَاهُ وَ شَيْئَانِ فَاسِدَانِ لَمْ يَدْخُلَا جَوْفاً قَطُّ صَالِحاً إِلَّا أَفْسَدَاهُ فَالصَّالِحَانِ الرُّمَّانُ وَ الْمَاءُ الْفَاتِرُ وَ الْفَاسِدَانِ الْجُبُنُّ وَ الْقَدِيدُ .
5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from certain persons of his people in a marfu ‘ manner who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘There are two good things that never enter a bad stomach which they do not repair, and there are two bad things which never enter a good stomach which they do not damage. The two good things are pomegranate and warm water, and the two bad things are cheese and al-Qadid (dried up meat).”’
