2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Dawud al-Riqqiy who has said the following:
“I once said to abu ‘ Abd Allah , ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, a man from the companions of abu al-Khattab prohibited eating the meat of camels of Khurasan and the meat of al-Musarwal (pigeons that have feathers on their legs). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful to ride camel of Khurasan, drink their milk and eat the meat of al-Musarwal pigeons.’”
