مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ زِيَادٍ الْقَنْدِيِّ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْأَوَّلِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ تَوْرُ مَاءٍ فِيهِ إِجَّاصٌ أَسْوَدُ فِي إِبَّانِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ هَاجَتْ بِي حَرَارَةٌ وَ إِنَّ الْإِجَّاصَ الطَّرِيَّ يُطْفِئُ الْحَرَارَةَ وَ يُسَكِّنُ الصَّفْرَاءَ وَ إِنَّ الْيَابِسَ مِنْهُ يُسَكِّنُ الدَّمَ وَ يَسُلُّ الدَّاءَ الدَّوِيَّ .
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Ja‘far from Ya’qub ibn Yazid from Ziyad al-Qandiy who has said the following:
“I once went to see abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal , and before him (the Imam) there was a bowl with black plums in its time (season). He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because fever increased in my body and fresh plums lower down fever, calm down yellowness (stomach acid). Dry plums calm down blood (excitement) and remove reverberating illnesses/”
