الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فِي رَجُلٍ أَوْقَفَهُ الْإِمَامُ لِلِّعَانِ فَشَهِدَ شَهَادَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ نَكَلَ فَأَكْذَبَ نَفْسَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنَ اللِّعَانِ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ حَدَّ الْقَاذِفِ وَ لَا يُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُ وَ بَيْنَ امْرَأَتِهِ .
5. Al-Hassan ibn Mahbub has narrated from ‘Abbad ibn Suhayb who has said the following: “A man is placed under arrest by the Imam in the case of al-Li‘an (condemnation). He testifies twice, then refuses and confesses that he has lied before completing al-Li ‘an (condemnation). Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that he is whipped as the penalty for accusing the woman of committing fornication. He is not separated from his woman.’”
