5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following:
“I once asked him (the Imam) , about the case of a woman who is divorced three times: if she deserves maintenance and accommodation. He (the Imam) asked, ‘Is she pregnant?’ I replied, ‘No, she is not pregnant.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, she does not deserve it.’”
