4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from certain persons of his people from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following:

“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘Circumcision for man is of Sunnah and it is a noble trait for women.’”
