2- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لأبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) رَجُلٌ نَكَحَ امْرَأَةً ثُمَّ أَتَى أَرْضاً فَنَكَحَ أُخْتَهَا وَهُوَ لا يَعْلَمُ قَالَ يُمْسِكُ أَيَّتَهُمَا شَاءَ وَيُخَلِّي سَبِيلَ الأخْرَى.
2. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from abu Bakr al- Hadramiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja’far , about the case of a man who marries a woman and then comes to a land where he marries her sister but he does not know. He (the Imam) said, ’He can keep whichever he wants and allow the other one to go.’”
