4. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Aban from ‘Abbad al-Dabbiy who has said the following:

“About the case of a man who is impotent, abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘When it is found out that he is impotent and cannot sleep with women, they are separated from each other; and if he goes to bed with her even once then they are not separated from each other; man is not turned away because of defect.’”
