4- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام)
أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ يَكُونُ مَعَ الْمَرْأَةِ لا يُبَاشِرُهَا إِلا مِنْ وَرَاءِ ثِيَابِهَا [وَثِيَابِهِ] فَيُحَرِّكُ حَتَّى يُنْزِلَ مَاءَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ وَهَلْ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ حَدَّ الْخَضْخَضَةِ فَوَقَّعَ فِي الْكِتَابِ بِذَلِكَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ.
4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn al-Rayyan who has said the following:
“A man once wrote to abu al-Hassan 
, and asked about a man who is with a woman and touches her from behind her clothes and his clothes and moves until he discharges semen; if it is like masturbation. He (the Imam) signed the answer that said, ‘In it he has reached his goal (of a sinful act).”’
