2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “Once ibn ‘Umm Maktum asked permission from the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, when ‘Ai’shah and Hafsah were with him. He (the Messenger of Allah) asked them to go to the room and they said, ‘He is blind.’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘If he cannot see you, you two can see him.’”
