1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il ibn Bazi’ who has said the following:

“I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ , about the mother of children (slave-girls kept to give birth): if they can remove the covering from their heads before men. He (the Imam) said, ’She must use the veil.’”
