2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Husayn ibn Zayd from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘By the One in whose Hand is my soul, if a man overwhelms his wife (engages in sexual intercourse) when there is a child in the house who is awake, sees and hears them speaking and their breathing, the child will not escape, a boy or girl, their involvement in fornication.’ Ali ibn al-Husayn , whenever, he intended to overwhelm his wife, would close the door, pull down the curtains and send the servants out.’”
