A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan al-Rida’ has said that abu Ja‘far , has said, ‘Waiting period for al- Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage) is forty five days and because of precaution it is forty five nights.’”
