Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ‘Isma’il from Mansur ibn Yunus from Shu’ayb ibn al-Haddad from Bashshar ibn Yasar who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah , about the case of a man who sells goods on credit with deferred payment, then buys them from the party to whom he has sold. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’ I then asked, ‘Can I buy my own goods?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not your property, your cow or your sheep.’” Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan from Shu’ayb al- Haddad from Bashshar ibn Yasar from abu ‘Abd Allah , a similar Hadith.
