9. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin
, would go to work with large quantities of date stones. He was asked, ‘What are these, O abu al-Hassan?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘They are palm trees, by the will of Allah.’ He then planted them and not a single piece failed sprouting.”
