1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Asbat from Muhammad ibn ‘Adha’fir from his father who has said the following:

“Abu ‘Abd Allah , once said to me, ‘O ‘Adha’fir, you cooperate with abu Ayyub and al-Rabi‘, how will your condition be when you will be called along with the helpers of unjust ones? He (the narrator) has said that my father became extremely depressed and abu ‘Abd Allah , upon seeing the condition of my father said, ‘O ‘Adha’fir, I alarmed you the way Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has alarmed me.’ Muhammad has said, ‘My father came home and continued to remain depressed until he died.’”
