36- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الأشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَدَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ
جِئْتُ بِكِتَابٍ إِلَى أَبِي أَعْطَانِيهِ إِنْسَانٌ فَأَخْرَجْتُهُ مِنْ كُمِّي فَقَالَ لِي يَا بُنَيَّ لا تَحْمِلْ فِي كُمِّكَ شَيْئاً فَإِنَّ الْكُمَّ مِضْيَاعٌ.
36. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Ja’far ibn Muhammad al- Ash’ariy from ibn Qaddah who has said the following:
“Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said, ‘I once took a letter to my father that a man had sent and I took it out of my sleeves. He (the Imam) said, ‘My son, do not keep anything in your sleeves; it causes loss of things.’”
